Actually I'm highly contemplating about whether or not to change the name to Chaotic Lands or something else as it may fit better with my story. What I've posted bellow so far is a revisions of my prologue which is still incomplete. I will listen to ideas or suggestions in regards to this book if it will help me improve it and perhaps my writing.
Prologue:
Walking along an endless path, a man journeys forward. Not knowing where this path would lead him, he kept moving forward at a steady pace. His eyes were wide open and his ears alert for any form of movement or sound that he might come across.
Above him the sky had begun to change, slowly revealing a red sky which stretched over the horizon. It illuminated the clouds in an array of different colors, making it appear as if the whole sky was a rainbow. Night would soon fall. Well this is troublesome, he thought to himself as he came to an abrupt stop. There was nothing around for miles, not even a few scraps of wood to make a cozy little fire with. Blaze knew that if he were to survive this night, he would have to keep going.
In his hand Blaze held a leather flask. Luxurious liquid should have filled it. Something to keep mortals alive. Tilting the canteen slightly, revealed it to be empty. Ignoring his thirst, Blaze simply shrugged and began to follow the path once again. Not yet feeling the effects of dehydration, he knew that if he stayed here, he would eventually succumb to such a thing. This is why he gave little acknowledgment of the lack of water.
A violent wind rolled past him lifting his snow-white hair off the nape of his neck. The ugly, brown overcoat he was wearing, flapped around him in the wind before finally coming to a rest. The coming night had brought with it a deathly chill. In an attempt to keep himself warm while he was walking, Blaze wrapped his arms around himself. There wasn't anything more he could do without a warm fire.
(NOTE: The prologue isn't done yet, im still working on revising it but that's what I got so far. For those who are interested as to what Genre this is, it's fantasy/adventure/ and maybe some romance. But we'll see  )
