Since Halloween is coming up, there are a two contests you might want to look into.
One is about Halloween graphics. You can make any kind of scary graphic to join and everyone allowed to join.
The other one is all about writing scary things. It can be original, fanfiction or anything you want to write about as long as it's about Halloween.
You can also post Halloween theme role-plays on the Themes board.
